Rob Meanchoff

My coaching philosophy is to create a positive environment for the players.  We will focus on team play, puck movement, and individual skill development.  I want to help our players achieve all their hockey goals and get them ready to play at the next level.  I believe in delegating duties and getting many people involved in the day-to-day functions of operating a team.  I believe this contributes to team unity for parents and players, making for a fun season for everyone!

We will have 4-5 tournaments (2 away), many pre-season exhibitions, dry land training, and team-building excursions.  Practices will be run professionally - up-tempo, organized, and with meaning.  We will regularly have development coaches at and/or running practices.  We will also use goaltending coaches at practice to help our netminders hone their craft. 

Our team will learn defensive structure, understand positional roles, and we will work hard and smart.  Offense will come directly from attention and execution of defensive duties and through on-ice communication.  The better we play in our end, the less time we will spend there.
