Update Regarding Vaccination Requirements

Hello AAGHA hockey families,  

This week AAGHA received a communication from the OWHA regarding an update to their vaccination policy. The updated information requires that all participants in OWHA sanctioned programming born in 2009 or before, be fully vaccinated as of November 1st, 2021. Full vaccination status is considered two weeks post second valid dose.  The policy requires that any player who has not received two full doses by October 17th shall cease participation in hockey activities until such time as they meet full vaccination status. 

As a member association of the OWHA and a community group within the City of Hamilton we will continue to follow the guidelines provided by our governing body as well as government regulations.
