Peewee and Bantam Hockey Skills Competition! We will be hosting a skills competition during the Hometown Hockey weekend at Morgan Firestone Arena on Saturday, January 18th from 1-3pm. It is open to Peewee and Bantam players who are currently registered in the AAGHA House League and Rep programs.
We may still need VOLUNTEER COACHES and VOLUNTEER MIDGET GIRLS to help run the stations during the Skills Competition. All interested volunteers should contact Stephen Raitt by emailing highperformance@ancastergirlshockey.ca
**PARADE OF CHAMPIONS ALL INVITED!** Local minor hockey teams/associations are invited to march in a parade of champions. All teams will gather in a designated location and march on a pre-determined route into site. Teams are encouraged to wear jerseys and showcase their team spirit and passion for the game of hockey to all of Canada! Teams will be filed by the Sportsnet broadcast team.

Parade: The parade will begin at6:00 PM (Subject to change). Teams will be filmed marching towards the festival site and towards the Sportsnet Mobile Studio. Our Hometown Team will lead the parade route. The parade will take place right before the Rogers Hometown Hockey Pre-Game Broadcast with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone live on Sportsnet. Please show your team spirit by wearing your team jersey and making signs!
